Wizkid To Davido; You Can't Match My Lyrical Energy

In recent years, Wizkid & Davido relationship has seemed more amicable, with both artists collaborating with other musicians and focusing on their individual careers. The dynamics of their relationship continue to evolve until today when Fireboy DML revealed his failed plan to feature nothe artistes on the same project.

"I wanted to feature Wizkid and Davido in one song in my forthcoming album, but they both refused and insisted that I put them on individual songs." Fireboy DML

Fireboy DML continues to state that;

"When I was making my album, "ADEDAMOLA", my initial plan was to feature both Wizkid and Davido in one song but it didn't work. I first reached out to Davido, and told him about the idea but he was like "I'm not ready to be on the same song with Wizkid right now." Disappointed, I reached out to Wizkid and told him about the being on the same song with Davido but he replied me, he was like: "Davido can't match my energy so we can't be on the same song right now or it'll never be released." So I decided to feature Wizkid on "911" and feature Davido on "For You". It's really so sãd that they couldn't just be on one song."

Fireboy's Album dubbed adedamola will be out on the 28th August 2024.
