In the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary music, collaborations between artists often mark significant moments of cultural and musical significance. One such notable collaboration is of Wizkid and Nicki Minaj which hasn't been out for eight years now.

During her Instagram live, Nicki Minaj revealed why their their project with Big Wyz isn't yet out. Below are the why's and therefore's as to why;

Wizkid And Nicki Minaj In Studio Eight Years Back

"It has been 8-years now since I recorded a song with Wizkid but he keeps making re-write my verse and record it every year and he's still telling me it ain't good enough. That guy has got composure."

"The first day I met Wizkid like 8 years ago, he pretendęd like he didn't even know me like I knew Wizkid and I was excited to meet him but he wasn't even moved when he saw me. So I walked up to him, took his phone number, gave mine and asked him to text me when he later. I waited for about 4-days but I didn't see any message from Wizkid so I texted him and I was like "Yoo, why haven't you texted me?" And he replied by saying: "I've been very bũsy these days." And I was like WTF! No man has ever îgnored me like he did. So I asked him to come over to my studio so we could record but he told me to come over to his own studio instead. Amazed at such a proũd fine gentleman, I went to his studio and waited for like 30-minutes before he came in. When he came in, he wasn't even happy to see me like most artistes would normally do when they see me but he was just like I'm cool let's work. We recorded the song and when I asked Wizkid when we were gonna release it, he told me that he wasn't sure yet. So after I lęft he called me 2-weeks later and told me that my verse wasn't good enough so I sent him another verse and he still said the same thing. The shît repeated itself over and over and it has been 8-years now and I'm still sending my verse to Wizkid but he keeps rejectîng it. From an artiste perspective, I understand that he doesn't ever wanna release a song if he doesn't fęel it but he should atleast consider me cuz it's been 8-years now. I've already tried my utmost best but he's still not impressed.

This is not the first artist to bring it to light on how Wizkid is so keen on one's lyrics that he's going to collaborate with.
